About this product

A single-serve Milka bar: Alpine milk chocolate around a soft, strawberry-flavored milk cream with a little crispy wheat for crunch, in a 36.5g size.

This is the snack-bar version of Milka's strawberry chocolate. Each bar is made of Alpine milk chocolate with a pink milk cream center, and the filling makes up almost half of the bar (44%). Tiny bits of dried strawberry and crisp wheat pieces are mixed into the cream.

In German-speaking countries it is sold as the Milka Erdbeer Riegel, often in multipacks of five. Malincho sells the individual 36.5g bar in the USA as an independent retailer.

Taste and serving ideas

How it tastes

The first bite is smooth, sweet milk chocolate. Then comes the cool, creamy filling with a fruity strawberry flavor, similar to strawberry milk, and a light crunch from the crispy wheat. It is sweet and mellow, not tart.

Ways to enjoy it

One bar is one portion, so it is easy to toss into a lunchbox, a backpack or a desk drawer. It is also a handy size for party favors, Easter baskets and Valentine's Day treat bags.

In warm weather, chill it in the fridge for 10 minutes before eating. The filling firms up and tastes even creamier.

How it compares to the big strawberry bars

Milka also makes strawberry tablets in larger sizes, which you break into squares. This 36.5g bar is a filled bar meant to be eaten in one go, with a thicker layer of cream and the added crispy wheat.

Party idea: buy a handful of these single bars and add them to goody bags or a candy table; each one is individually wrapped.
