About this product
A big 300g Milka bar filled with vanilla-flavored milk cream and crunchy pieces of Oreo cocoa cookie, all inside smooth Alpine milk chocolate.
This is the large-format version of the Milka and Oreo team-up. Instead of a thin tablet, you get a thick bar with a soft cream center. Each square holds a layer of vanilla-flavored milk cream mixed with small bits of dark Oreo cookie, wrapped in Milka's Alpine milk chocolate.
In Europe it is sold as part of the Milka MMMAX line, Milka's name for its extra-large bars. On the German label the filling makes up about 38% of the bar and the cocoa cookie pieces about 16%.
The bar is made by Mondelez International, the company that owns both Milka and Oreo. Malincho sells it in the USA as an independent retailer.
Taste and serving ideas
How it tastes
Think of a cookies-and-cream ice cream bar in chocolate form. The milk chocolate is sweet and mild, the cream inside is soft and vanilla-forward, and the cookie bits add a light crunch and a hint of dark cocoa.
Because the filling is thick, the bar feels richer than a regular 100g Milka tablet. A couple of squares go a long way.
Ways to enjoy it
At 300g, this bar is made for sharing. Break it up for movie night, a family game night or the office snack table.
Chop a few squares and fold them into brownie batter, or scatter them over vanilla ice cream. The cream filling softens nicely when it meets something warm.
How it differs from the 100g Milka Oreo
The classic 100g Milka Oreo bar is a thin tablet. This MMMAX bar is much thicker, with a deeper cream layer in every piece, so the ratio of filling to chocolate is higher. If you like the cream more than the shell, this is the one to pick.
