About this product
A hollow Milka Santa made of Alpine milk chocolate studded with small hazelnut pieces, for anyone who likes a little crunch with their Christmas chocolate.
This 95g Santa figure is molded from Milka Alpine milk chocolate mixed with chopped hazelnuts, which make up about 8% of the chocolate. In Germany it is sold as Milka Weihnachtsmann Nuss, and the French pack calls it Père Noël Lait Noisette.
The figure comes wrapped in festive foil showing Santa's coat, beard and sack, so it looks the part on a table or under the tree.
It is made in Germany by Mondelez International, the company behind Milka. Malincho sells it in the USA as an independent retailer.
Taste and serving ideas
How it tastes
The chocolate is the familiar creamy, mild Milka milk chocolate. The hazelnut bits add a toasty, nutty flavor and a gentle crunch in every piece, which keeps the sweetness from feeling one-note.
Ways to enjoy it
Slip it into a Christmas stocking or leave it in a child's boot for Saint Nicholas Day on December 6. It also works as a place-card gift at a holiday dinner.
After the holidays, break the figure into pieces and melt them into hot milk for a nutty hot chocolate.
How it differs from the other Milka Santas
Milka makes several Santas. This is the large hazelnut one. The classic 90g Santa is plain Alpine milk chocolate, and there is also a small 45g hazelnut Santa for smaller stockings. Pick this one if you want nuts in a full-size figure.
Ingredients and allergens
Sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, skimmed milk powder, hazelnut pieces, whey powder (from milk), butterfat, emulsifiers (soy lecithins, E476), hazelnut paste, flavouring. Alpine milk chocolate with hazelnut pieces (8%).
