About this product

A crisp, golden biscuit with a thick layer of Milka Alpine milk chocolate on top, and the famous lilac cow pressed into every cookie.

Milka Choco Cow is a simple cookie done well: a crunchy wheat biscuit with a generous slab of Milka milk chocolate resting on its top side. Each chocolate layer carries a molded picture of the Milka cow, so the cookies look as cheerful as they taste.

The chocolate is the same Alpine milk chocolate Milka uses in its bars. The biscuit underneath is lightly salted and made with a touch of hazelnut paste for a rounder, buttery flavor.

Choco Cow is made in Poland for Mondelez International, the company behind the Milka brand. Malincho sells it in the USA as an independent retailer.

Taste and serving ideas

How it tastes

The first bite is all snap from the biscuit, then the chocolate softens and melts on your tongue. The cookie itself is only mildly sweet, which lets the creamy, milky chocolate do most of the talking.

Because the chocolate sits on one side only, you get a cleaner crunch than with a fully dipped cookie.

Ways to enjoy it

Serve a few next to coffee, tea or hot cocoa, or dunk one in cold milk for a few seconds so the biscuit softens but the chocolate holds. The cow picture makes them a hit in kids' lunchboxes and party treat bags.

For a quick dessert, set the cookies chocolate side up on a plate with sliced strawberries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

A cookie with a mascot

The lilac cow has been Milka's symbol for more than a century. Choco Cow puts her right on the cookie, which is why many shoppers spot this pack from across the aisle.

Snack idea: warm a Choco Cow cookie for 5 seconds in the microwave and the chocolate turns soft and glossy, like a freshly baked treat.
